What to expect from a SFH session
Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy is a positive, practical
approach that focuses on solutions rather than problems.
The aim is to help clients create lasting change, build
healthier habits, and learn effective ways to manage stress
and anxiety.
Sessions last around 50 minutes. The first part of the
session involves a relaxed conversation, focusing on the
positive aspects of life and identifying a small, achievable
goal to work towards over the coming week. The second
part is a guided relaxation, where the client can simply
close their eyes and relax while the subconscious mind
becomes more receptive to positive suggestions. This
process helps encourage new thought patterns, supporting a
more positive and solution-focused mindset.
While anxiety is one of the most common reasons people
seek hypnotherapy, it can also be highly effective for a wide
range of other issues, including depression, low self-
esteem, confidence building, public speaking, phobias,
smoking and vaping cessation, chronic pain management,
and anger issues. By helping clients understand how their
mind works and develop healthier thought patterns,
hypnotherapy can support positive change across many
areas of life.
Most clients benefit from between 8 and 12 sessions to
achieve lasting results. Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy can
be highly effective for children, teenagers, and adults, with
both online and in-person sessions available. Research and
experience show that online sessions can be just as effective
as face-to-face appointments.
